David Quammen, the new Wallace Stegner Professor in Western American Studies at Montana State University, will lecture on Charles Darwin and religion at this year's Wallace Stegner Lecture to be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, at MSU's Museum of the Rockies. Admission is free.

Quammen, who has degrees from Yale University and Oxford University, as well as an honorary doctorate from MSU, writes often about evolutionary science. His most recent book, "The Reluctant Mr. Darwin," examines the 21 years that passed between Darwin's ...
