Charles Darwin still has a place in modern science.

When I read statements from Laurence Baker I feel he must go to his library and do some serious reading.

Yes, Darwin made mistakes. However, he was writing in the first half of the 19th century, when the concept of evolution was alien.

Perhaps Laurence Baker would like to read a condensed modern view of evolution.

The theory proposed by Darwin has been extended in the light of contemporary evidence from genetics, molecular biology etc, and is known as neo-Darwinism.
