Landscape artist Tim Hamwey paints farm scenes of the Cooperstown, N.Y. area as they appeared in the 1800s. Hamwey's oil paintings are inspired both by his farm and his own unique family heritage. Tim's great-grandfather William Cooper, a descendant of James Fenimore Cooper, left dairies that have become integral to his landscapes. But much of Hamwey's subject matter reflects the artist's own day-to-day life.
