Sequence Of The Five Leatherstocking Tales
The Leatherstocking Series is composed of five books, each of which is
centered about a certain phase of the life of the main character -
Leatherstocking (called by a different name in each book). The Deerslayer
(1841) was the last of the series to be written, but it is the first romance
in chronological sequence. Brief summaries of each of the five romances follow
in the proper chronological sequence.
