BLOOMSBURY: A library of rare books including a work by Geoffrey Chaucer and a Harry Potter first edition is going on sale.

Bloomsbury auctions is holding the Important Printed Books and Manuscripts sale on Thursday next week.

The 1896 copy of The Works of Chaucer, one of only 425 copies on paper, has an estimated price of [pounds]40,000. A second folio edition of William Shakespeare Comedies, Histories and Tragedies has a starting price of [pounds]30,000..
