The CORE Theatre Company's well-conceived and executed production of "The Yellow Wallpaper" not only is a showcase of this young outfit's creativity and boldness but fascinating by any standards.

CORE is doubly young. The company has existed about a year. Its principals are youthful, being students at Old Dominion University or relatively recent graduates of the school's theater program.
