A new play based on a late 19th-century story by American writer Charlotte Perkins Gilman will be read at Angels Gate Cultural Center. Bryan Davidson adapted "Yellow Wallpaper" from Gilman's "The Yellow Wallpaper," a short story about a woman's slide into psychosis when her physician husband confines and deprives her of all intellectual stimulation as a cure for "temporary nervous depression."
