The Water Babies: This is a charming adaptation of the Charles Kingsley novel, which features a successful combination of live action and animation. A young boy from Dickensian London is whisked away on a series of magical underwater adventures.
Directed by Lionel Jeffries and James Mason, Billie Whitelaw, Bernard Cribbins and Joan Greenwood make up the superb cast.
