Alverno to host London theater troupe

Alverno College will step into the local theater spotlight this month with its hosting of the Aquila Theatre Company of London, a traveling troupe that tours extensively to U.S. campuses.

The actors will stage their productions of Aristophanes' "Birds" and Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar." Both shows will be presented in Alverno's Pitman Theatre, 3401 S. 39th St. But the theatrical activity on campus doesn't end with the performances. Here is a schedule of events.
