JOE Hasham first discovered the play Julius Caesar when he was 12 years

old, studying under a teacher called Brother Cassius in De La Salle

College Marrickville in Sydney.

It was his first taste of Shakespeare and remains one one of his

favourite plays. However, Joe has never staged the play for fear that he

would not do it justice. Until now. 45 years later, he has finally

decided that it was time to tackle Julius Caesar. He talked about the

challenges of doing the play over coffee at Bangsar Shopping Centre along

with actor Ari Ratos who plays Brutus in the production.
