Manheim Township Performing Arts will present "The Secret Garden" this week.

Starting time for the musical is 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the high school auditorium.

The stage adaptation of the classic children's novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett tells the story of Mary Lennox and her discovery of a mysterious garden which seems to have a magical effect on all who enter it.

Mary, played by Kim Rivera, awakens in 1906 to learn her parents, Albert and Rose, played by Steve Cargile and Samantha Stoltzfus, have died of cholera. She is sent to live with her reclusive and brooding ...
