Aclassic novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, "The Secret Garden" is a story about the healing power of love and the miracle of rebirth.

Topeka High School is presenting the play based on the novel at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the THS Auditorium. All seats are $5.

The story begins in India in 1906, with a young Mary Lennox, played by Laura Bixler, awaking to discover her parents, Rose and Albert (Alexandra Bixler and Chris Reed), along with everyone in the English compound, having died of cholera. With no other relatives near, Mary is sent to ...
