YUCAIPA - Heartland Players latest production is a humorous and sweet musical rendition of Frances Hodgson Burnett's novel "Little Princesses."

Written by Heartland Players mainstay Dimyana Pelev, the show is family friendly.

In fact, Friday's audience was full of children who laughed and applauded along with the adults in the crowd.

The story takes place at a girls' boarding school in England. The headmistress, Miss Minchin, played by Ashley Henley, is trying to keep the girls well mannered.
