Broadway to be awash in princesses in '05

NEW YORK, May 03, 2004 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- Frances Hodgson Burnett's beloved children's novel, "A Little Princess," is the inspiration for two musicals scheduled to arrive on Broadway next year.

The first, announced Monday by producers Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley, will be titled "Princesses" and will be set in a private girls' school in present day Manhattan where a student musical version of "A Little Princess" is being planned.
