I just finished reading ``The Devil's Dictionary'' by Ambrose Bierce. You might find the book particularly relevant now that U.S. planners have bombed Iraq - again. It's one of the best books I've read in the past few years.

The introduction is what caught my eye the morning after our military leaders launched another attack on the country where 500,000 children have already died because of economic sanctions that our leaders have imposed on those sovereign people eight years ago.

The Dictionary has nothing to do with U.S.-Iraq relations per se. It's really a collection ...
