GUWAHATI, April 23 -- The unfortunate death of more than 60 persons including women and children belonging to a marriage party in a tragic bus accident near Sarupeta in Barpeta district was one of the worst accidents in recent times and it should act as an eye opener for the administration as poor road condition coupled with overloading of passengers seem to be the main reasons for the tragedy. The joyous occasion of proceeding towards a marriage ceremony turned into watery grave for the passengers of the ill-fated bus as the vehicle fell into a roadside ditch and more than 60 persons lost ...
