The Aristotle Corporation (Nasdaq: ARTL) announced today net income of $289,000, or $.15 per basic and diluted share, for the quarter ended September 30, 2001, compared with $228,000, or $.12 per basic and diluted share, for the same period last year. Earnings for the three months ended September 30, 2000, excluding the $68,000 impact of amortization of goodwill related to acquisitions, would have been $296,000, or $.16 per diluted share.
