The Aristotle Corporation (Nasdaq: ARTL) announced today net income of $218,000, or $.12 per basic share and $.11 per diluted share, for the twelve months ended June 30, 2001, compared with $565,000, or $.39 per basic share and $.37 per diluted share, for the previous year ended June 30, 2000. Although earnings declined year to year, it was the 6th consecutive year of profitability for Aristotle. Excluding the impact of amortization of goodwill, current fiscal year earnings would have been $646,000, or $.34 per diluted share, ...
