The Aristotle Corporation (Nasdaq: ARTL) announced today net income applicable to common shareholders of $565,000, or $.39 per basic share and $.37 per diluted share, for the twelve months ended June 30, 2000, compared with $170,000, or $.14 per basic and diluted share, for the same period last year. Earnings for the twelve months ended June 30, 2000 on a pro forma basis, excluding the $228,000 impact of amortization of goodwill, would have been $793,000, or $.54 per basic share and $.49 per diluted share.
