NEW HAVEN, Conn., Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- The Aristotle Corporation (Nasdaq: ARTL) announced today it earned $761,000, or $0.69 per common share and $0.61 per diluted share, for its second quarter ended December 31, 1997, versus a net loss of $220,000, or $0.20 per common share, as restated, for the same period last year. For the six months ended December 31, 1997, the Company earned $969,000, or $0.88 per common share and $0.78 per diluted share, versus a net loss of $195,000, or $0.18 per common share, as restated, for the same period last year.
