STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Aristotle Corporation (NASDAQ: ARTL; ARTLP) announced today its results of operations for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2008.

For the second quarter ended June 30, 2008, net earnings applicable to common stockholders were $4.5 million, or $.25 per diluted common share, versus $3.9 million, or $.23 per diluted common share, in the second quarter of 2007. Net earnings applicable to common stockholders for the first six months of 2008 were $7.3 million, or $.41 per diluted common share, compared to $6.3 million, or $.36 per diluted common ...
