Metromail Corp. has settled its 1992 lawsuit with Aristotle Industries Inc. over a contract dispute. Both companies announced that they have resolved all disagreements and will drop all claims against each other. The lawsuit arose from the unauthorized integration of Aristotle's voter registration files into Metromail's consumer database despite a clause prohibiting such action on the part of Metromail. The amount for the settlement was not revealed but may have involved millions of dollars.
