STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Aristotle Corporation (NASDAQ: ARTL; ARTLP) announced today its results of operations for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2006.

For the three months ended September 30, 2006, net sales increased 5.5 to $61.8 million from $58.6 million in the third quarter of 2005, and earnings before income taxes increased 13.2 to $11.4 million from $10.1 million.
