STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Aristotle Corporation (NASDAQ: ARTL; ARTLP) announced today its results of operations for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2006.

For the three months ended June 30, 2006, net sales increased 6.6 to $53.5 million from $50.2 million in the second quarter of 2005, and earnings before income taxes increased 14.6 to $9.0 million from $7.8 million. For the six months ended June 30, 2006, net sales increased 8.4 to $99.6 million from $91.9 million for the six months ended June 30, 2005, and earnings before income taxes increased 18.5 to $15.4 ...
