STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Aristotle Corporation (NASDAQ: ARTL; ARTLP) announced today its results of operations for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2005.

For the three months ended September 30, 2005, net sales increased 5.9 to $58.6 million from $55.4 million in the third quarter of 2004, and earnings before income taxes increased 11.8 to $10.1 million from $9.0 million. For the nine months ended September 30, 2005, net sales increased 8.3 to $150.5 million from $139.0 million in the first nine months of 2004, and earnings before income taxes increased 14.8 ...
