Politics - The Study Of The State:
We have seen in the Ethics how a man's character depends on the society
in which he is brought up. To learn how to act intelligently, one must live
in a community which believes that it is important to act intelligently. In
order to perform his function of living according to reason, a man must have
a field of action in which to operate. This field is the state. In the
