Books V To VII

Organization Of The Books:

In these books Aristotle develops the principles he has set forth in
detail in the first four books. As has been noted, the first books were
originally called On Nature and the last four On Motion. As the last books are
mainly refinements and consequences of the first principles assigned to the
study of nature in the first four books, it is not necessary to go into any
of them in detail. Each book will be reviewed briefly.
