LOCAL YOUNGSTERS TO STAR IN VERSION OF AESOP FABLE.(Local)

The Oswego Children's Theater will present "The Great Cross Country Race," a retelling of the Aesop's fable "The Tortoise and the Hare."

It will feature a large cast of local children and is designed to appeal to younger people. The show, written by Alan Broadhurst and adapted by Wayne Mosher Jr., is about two hours long with a 15-minute intermission. Mosher directs the play.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 16 and 17 and 2 p.m. Feb. 17 and 18 at the Frances Marion Brown Theater in the Civic Arts Center Building, Fort Ontario Park, Oswego.
