    “We must always have old memories and young hopes.”

    Arsčne Houssaye (1815-1896);
    writer, novelist, poet
    "He is asleep. Though his mettle was sorely tried,
    He lived, and when he lost his angel, died.
    It happened calmly, on its own,
    The way the night comes when day is done."

    The clouds are here and it's soon to pour, down the ever cast skies of the lonesome's season.

    If a tree falls in the forest, but no one saw it fall, did the tree still fall? Although no one knows it fell? Hmmm. lol

    It did fall, though the poor thing fell unnoticed, either because no one could be there to see it, or because everyone chose to be somewhere else on purpose

    But why would they be there on purpose, if they didn't know about it in the first place? Hmmmmmmmm.....what a very trivial thing. Do we even know if the tree fell?

    Let's say the tree actually fell and no one was there to keep him company in his final tragic hour because no one really cared about the poor thing's fate... people can be cold as ice. Sometimes they don't even notice a fellow comrade's downfall... let alone a tree's downfall A tree's lifetime is lonely. A tree's final hour is even worse

    You're absolutely right! Every single word is absolutely word. I feel so bad for the tree though. If only he had a friend....

    I fully share your feeling, my friend If you are interested to know, the UN has named 2011 the international year of forests, and the WWF has a related article on http://www.wwf.org.uk/news_feed.cfm?uNewsID=4514

    This might help the case of trees a little, I hope... At least a few are having them in mind
