    a good read

    this is a very interesting book and, in my opinion, very exquisitely written. dickens was a genius for both his time and ours. good job, dickens!<br>steph

    Yes. I love this book. Christmas is coming again and I think it is about time for a reread. Unfortunately though, I have not yet read "The Chimes" or any other of his christmas fiction. Hopefully I will be able to squeeze one of his books in. Actually there is a christmas chapter in "The Pickwick Papers" and that is a book I have been wanting to read. He really is a great story teller.

    It is the best! Whenever I watch one of the movies, I will sit mouthing all the lines to myself.
    By the way, the best movie version is by far A Muppets Christmas Carol.
    Scrooged was also very funny.

    This was a very good read. Short and meaningful. It was a wonder to see Scrooge change right before my eyes in such a way and upon finishing it I couldn't help but smile.
