My son and I were about one and a half to two meters away. Raccoons have periodically passed through our creek for many years along with opossums, coyote's, snakes,...etc. In this case we had four young ones hanging around for about three weeks. My son began feeding them cherries and dog food before I came home from my business trip to snap the shots you see.

Yes they are! When I was younger, I would roll acorns in mud and toss them to the Raccoons. The Raccoons would take the dirty acorns over to the dog water bowl and wash them off before eating.

You must have had them at one point. How else could the Beatles have come up with this? :

Max is a sort of mascot at my workplace. His photos feature on many a computer screen as wallpaper:

    Growing bigger and naughtier:

    Life is a never-ending game!

    Adventure begins:

First swim (and he falls in love with water!):

Within few weeks, takes on the North Sea:

I am a big boy now (aged 17 months):

    He is so adorable! And talented it seems as well. :] My dog HATES water, haha but loves the snow. Max looks like he was one very cute puppy. :}

Your Jake looks fit and expression of his face says that he is a smart dog.

Here are some new pictures from the dog shelter.

This animal keeps mice away from dog's food and he is not afraid of loud barking - a brave thing.

And he looks almost like Boris my cat just much friendlier.

He is just like my neighbours cat who comes in to be fed sometimes, but I had to train my cat not to attack him and she is now getting used to having another cat being allowed into her territory.

He is a bit younger than Milly and still cautious of her but I like to see him and I encourage him into the house despite Milly's annoyance.
It's good to hear from you since you appear to have given up on the Guess the Artist thread.

Brian I am always happy to hear from you, honestly. I haven't given up on 'Name the painting' blog I just spend less time online. I will tell you lil secret - I have less than 50 sites to read from Svejk and after that I will start your book as I told you already I am really excited about it. Shame on me - I read slowly first reason is that the book is in Hungarian, which is not my native language, on the other hand I have a very few time for reading.

Waiting for more pictures of your Milly and the four legged neighbour :-)

DANSBIRD your doggy is so lovable! What is his/her name? How old is he/she? Tell us more about your pet. I bet he is fun.
Only dogs can look at you this way! With so much love in their eyes.

That's OK Olga, I have just finished my 3rd book and will be taking it to the printer's tomorrow. It's a satire on publishing and the pop music business and very different from Pro Bono Publico. If you manage to get through my first novel, you can have a copy if you wish.

I haven't seen Tabby, our neighbours cat, for a few days but here are some more of Milly.

Most pictures on the site use photobucket, flikr, imageshack etc as the medium to transmit pictures. I used to use photobucket until they altered the format in a way that doesn't allow me use it so I now use Imageshack which is much simpler to use. Just google Imageshack and click onto the first item.
Then go through the boring sign in/password bit before clicking on Media Upload, Browse (to select picture ), Upload now. When it has uploaded, click on My Pictures and then select the top one of the 5 buttons at the side of the picture. Then highlight the top item in the box that appears, right click and select copy from drop down menu. Call up the pets photo thread and insert the copy into the selected quote box with any message required.
