By the time the sun turns red
Kitty Babe will eat its hat
without fork, with sweat beein' wet
small kitty sputters: "The stupid bet!"

Is there a heaven for my cat
Who lounges on my lap like that?
I hope she has no chance at hell,
Though if she does, I wish her well.
