Erm... I take it that is jewelry? Where do you wear those? Do they go round the side of your ear? I could like that, with the hair done "up" and away from the face

    Sunday morning coffee, anyone?

I don't have anything nice enough to go with them, but I like them. They look a bit like little sparkley sweet-pea flowers on the vine.

So here's my problem. In the last couple days my face has gotten really dry and flaky. What's up with that?

Has there been a sudden change in weather? Your eating habits? Your sleeping pattern?
I'm weary with right-angles, abbreviated daylight,
Waiting for a winter to be done.
Why do I still see you in every mirrored window,
In all that I could never overcome?

Unless you got sun-burnt about two weeks ago and it has started to peel off now... That can happen quite suddenly.

I didn't get sunburned, however I was on vacation last week and the weather was definitely different.

That's probably it, then. It's the most annoying thing in the world going from a nice climate to something that chaps your face off. Some better moisturizer should help? Hope it gets better. :]

Yep, that would definitely do it! My skin is very sensitive to weather changes as well.

I was on the road to recovery (moisturizing heavily and drinking lots of water) then today I decided to swim a few laps. Bad idea - I look like a bowl of corn flakes.

Ahh! That's gotta be rough. If it's so extreme I'm sure you could visit the dermatologist in order to sort that out. :[ If not, what you were doing seemed to be the ticket!

As for those dazzling "lures" up there... how big are they? If I remember correctly big earrings hurt worse than some shoes.

Oh, and I have a question. One of my guy friends has a birthday coming up and I want to get him a book. He reads pretty often and he's been complaining about having nothing to read on the plane ride back to school. Any suggestions on what a 20-ish year old guy would want to read?
