    she left me

    the day she left me
    I threw away my watch
    there was no sense then
    keeping track of time
second by second, minute by minute
    hour by hour!
Without my watch I am relieved
    of keeping track of time
infact there is no need to do that
    after you went away!
Now I wake up and sleep
by the wink of my eyes!
anytime my eyes wink to open up
    I take it as Day;
Night comes whenever my winks close!

much more poignant than mine. I thought perhaps time would fly and you would not feel so trapped by it!

    Very nice poem!
You threw away the time along with the watch!
Love hurts like the thorns of a rose.
Love stings like a yellow jacket.
Hope you find your watch back in no time!

Time without a watch is stagnant, like life without love...

Lovely... Who needs a watch when everything is the same.
