Well, tomorrow is a new day with a new start. Best to you Mary.

Nothing but stress today at work. But tomorrow is another day for me too.

    Virgil.... Hope this helps....
Breathe in - Breathe out. Breathe in - Breathe out.

Might help with your stress, but unfortunately it won't get the fat off my hips.

I haven't done anything today. I'll be going for a run tomorrow though.

How was your fun? How long did it take and how long was the distance? How often do you run?

Not bad for the start: breathe in - breathe out, then stretch your arms up and continue warming up.

I raced up and down a beach, and up and down and up and down... it was exhausting. Then I wandered in the woods and found a bird's nest.

    Red face

I busted the front gear mechanism of my new bike this morning, and used the remaining gears to get it to the dealer for repairs. (No worries. The bike is but a few months old and the dealer will replace the stuff i broke for free as it was a manufacturing fault: It popped a couple of rivets). As a result I had to take the bus home, and I guess I'll be riding the spare bike for a couple of days... But I got my workout.

    Sorry, just seen this!
I usually do 2 miles, 4 or 5 times a week, and it takes me about 20 mins. I'm going to start increasing the distance though. Do you run? I hate it but it's good for keeping fit, so I make myself go!

    1) You have front gears?

    2) how in the heck did they break?

Great bike Claes! I'm not that familiar with mountain bikes, but your bike looks very well built and sturdy. You are putting too much strain on it slugging your way through the wetlends to get to the McDonald's! (Yeah, I saw your pics on the photo thread).

For me..., well I had my run on Thursday afternoon, so that means I am supposed to run this evening. The problem is, I hear a trio of Stouts serenading me from the fridge.

No I don't run - I hate it, although I have to run 3200 metres every year. So to develop my stamina I swim and do yoga.

I admire those people who run.

Still no smoking I think it is like three weeks now and I couldn't be happier about it. Even better, it is no smoking and I'm not taking my little pills (I only made it a week and a half or so on Chantix), so yep all me regardless of everything else going on.

Have a thousand green smartie points. Giving up smoking is the most difficult thing I've ever done, so I can take a guess what you're going through. Keep going, take each day at a time.

On making three months a GOLD smartie point will be awarded! Stick with it.

Thanks! I'm going to make it stick this time since I had quit for something like 2-3 years and then started again. It's just as hard as I remember, but I also know that I've done this once and I'm perfectly capable of doing it again.
