There are many cats and pigeons in Kyrenia and I noticed that these creatures divided the area of the local harbour, of course cats occupied the territory closer to restaurants and fisher-boats where they are more likely to get some food, while pigeons can be found on promenade.

This picture was taken on the same day when I pictured pigeons in Kyrenia.

I laughed too at that article although I doubt if my Milly would have let the gull share her 'whiskers'.

This picture is taken from a book about Corsica and shows a fisherman with a reception party who have waited for him to start cleaning his catch.

Looks like my father after fishing :-)

This is our dog Dorje. He's a Jack Russell Terrier and has a strong personality. He was 2 years old in April.

    Being good.

Gazing over a stream nearby - he does a lot of gazing for a hyper-dog

Playing in a sprinkler in the garden.

    Wondering what's gong on.

After all that running around - taking a rest.

    Beautiful lady...
Do you go to the same doctor all the time?
We have a very nice vet for years and he recognizes my pets.

Yes she is beautiful, when I look at her I am reminded of Theophile Gautier's words about his own cat "Who can believe that there is no soul behind those luminous eyes".
I have always used the same vet since I bought her and she has a steroid injection each year to stop her scratching her face and also an anti-feline enteritis injection, so she has to go twice a year. She hates going but she is beginning to get used to it now.

Paulclem, would you upload your pictures again?

I can't wait to see your dog!

We visit our vet only if we have health issues (of course I mean my pets :-).
My cats live inside of my flat on the second floor, they don't go out so it is not necessary to vaccinate them at all. When I adopted Panteleimon, as you may know, he was a week old and very sick. We went to the vet pretty often that time. The doctor wasn't sure that time that Pantjusha (his nickname) would survive at all. These days he has been suffering only from heat, so I shower him from time to time.

That's an amazing picture of a lizard. I am surprised it entered a building as I recall seeing them in Italy and they quickly disappeared when approached.
They are probably the fastest moving creatures in the world as they literally disappear in a fraction of a second when they are disturbed.

My cat loves to be outside in the summer but spends most of the day inside during the winter. When she isn't sleeping, she likes to explore the immediate neighbourhood.

    Thank you, Brian!

It was just a good luck. During the lunch time my colleague asked me if I wanted to see a lizard. Sure I wanted, I ran to my office to pick my camera and then back to the animal. He obviously was looking for some cool place, it was about 35 degrees outside. I managed to take only 3 pictures before he disappeared, here is the second one:
