Not bad. A bit passionless - even the singer herself looked quite bored in places. Still, it was alright. 6/10

Now this is one of my favourite pieces by one of my favourite singers - it never fails to move me:

"I should only believe in a God that would know how to dance. And when I saw my devil, I found him serious, thorough, profound, solemn: he was the spirit of gravity- through him all things fall. Not by wrath, but by laughter, do we slay. Come, let us slay the spirit of gravity!" - Nietzsche

Didn't do much for me but 4/10 for the accompaniment.

Here is another literature and song combination, with apologies to Thomas Wolfe.

Just listened to Wossisface Ray - 0/10 seems a bit generous to me. Couldn't we award negative marks?

Julie London wasn't bad so I'll give her 6/10, and I just know you'll enjoy this one.

It makes me wonder what the studio were thinking of assembling the unlikely cast of Vaughan, Montand, and Monroe. I believe it went down like the proverbial lead balloon.

I really liked the first bit, and the rest of it was actually alright. 6.5/10

Now I'm not necessarily saying there's a connection, but it is instructive that one of the adverts accompanying the video is for an Elephant Dung Collector.

I'mk rather ambivalent about it, to be honest. It sounds reasonable, but it doesn't do anything for me. 5/10.

This, on the other hand, always makes me smile:

Just bear in mind that she is an actress, not a singer!
