    Dracula copyright

I have a question that's come up in conversations with friends over Dracula.

With the publication of Dracula: The Un-Dead, is Bram Stoker's Dracula and the characters within (Van Helsing, Jonathan/Mina Harker, etc.) no longer in the public domain?

    Thanks.

I'm no lawyer, but I'm 100% sure Stoker's Dracula remains in the public domain.
