    1984 Essay

So for my literature class i'm supposed to write a 4-6 page essay on Nineteen Eighty-Four and i was wondering if anyone could help me come up with an interesting topic for the essay. The essay can be about pretty much anything as long as my teacher approves the topic.

Discussing it thematically or comparing it with another book usually works.

I guess it could work but my teacher keeps saying he doesn't want a regular "compare and contrast essay" and stuff like that. He wants something "challenging" and "thought provoking" and stuff like that.

I was thinking of comparing and contrasting 1984 and Brave New World and discussing which is more evident in our society today. I was going to run that topic by him today but he wasnt at school. I'll have to ask him about it tomorrow.

I have tried to make few essays and most of them are argumentative essays. I really prefer this kind of essay though this requires strong and convincing kind of write-ups based on your chosen topic. Political topic is the best choice for me, since you just have provide your personal insight along with facts, reasons, evidences and proofs
