The truth is that finding a right size is almost impossible. Okay, I know that in special underwear shops one could find bras with a perfect fit, but I can't afford to pay that much for a bra! In normal shops there just isn't enough sizes that have big enough cups and small enough circumference. Most of my bras are size 70C, and it is not the right size. 70D is better, but they are nearly impossible to find, and what I would really need would be a 65D or 65DD. I've NEVER found that size anywhere... (30D or 30DD) I also often find that the straps are too long even when on the shortest setting. That much I could fix myself, however, if I wasn't so damn lazy...
That's exactly it! I need big cups too (75E). But what's worse, after having had 2 children, and nursing them both, my breasts are inevitably drooping now, and the straps are cutting in* the shoulder really painfully

What is the 70 in the 70D size? Is that USA sizing or somewhere else?
There is only 1 store in town that sells my size and their best selection is in the "expensive" bra section.
As far as comfort goes, Wacoal is the best I've ever tried. There could be better, but I remember just being amazed the first time I tried one of those. Victoria's Secret doesn't hold a candle. Or at least it didn't. I can't even go to VS anymore. When I was younger, they had things I could wear, but I think that store cators to teens and young adults --- especially that PINK stuff they have. I'd feel really stupid walking around in a pair of sweatpants that said PINK on the butt of them.
T-SHIRT bras are a wardrobe staple in my opinion, but again, the size range on those is limited. The affordable T-Shirt Bra that comes in my size runs small and there is no buy a size up for me in that particular style. So, I spent $70 on the only other T-Shirt Bra they had - Le Mystery or something. It's awesome for comfort and is actually cute, rather than matronly which seems to be the most appropriate adjective for the majority of bras in my size and price range. If I want something functional and cute I will have to pay and pay and pay for it. More clothing size discrimination.

Yes, 70 is centimetres. I guess it's 32 in inches? They say you should not buy a bra if you can wear it on the tightest setting, which means that all my 70C or 70D bras are too large for me. But it is impossible to find a 65D anywhere!
T-shirt bra is one with smooth cups, no lace or seams so that it gives you a smooth silhoutte under a tight top.
I haven't seen that kind of backless bra. It looks like the straps might fall of your shoulders any moment causing a major underwear disaster... If you'll try one, tell me how it works
70D is not UK size! Its European.
I actually own a strapless, backless bra.

A friend of mine has one too and she said it was really difficult to get on properly.
I guess it would works better with people with small breasts that don't need that much support. With a tight top they should give enough support and a smooth silhouette for women whose breasts aren't that big.
That backless bra looks kind of cool. It works kinda like a backpack. I mean, you know... for the front.
