    read the descriptions of bounderby, of coketown itself, dickens is 'over the top' in all these descriptions, in terms of his rhetorical style, lexical collocatoins, etc

    Iam doing a course on this novel "Hard Times " and I'm not sure that I'm understanding it realy ,because my prof. told me that it is funny in some sence but i cannot see that .CAN ANYONE HELP ME ! PLEASE ?
