So it looks like my mortgage has gone out hte window and i need to start to find an apartment. Just over one month to go!
I've been enjoying pouring through page after page of apartments! I found a couple on a street thats very fitting for me and Kilted.

Your mortage has gone out the window ?!

I've been flat hunting too (its very very fun!), but where I live/work is very expensive. Whole county I'm in is through the roof prices.

I was hoping to buy an apartment. It would have worked out cheaper a month than renting an apartment (€500 a month compared to €700...) but there were a few problems. I'm just waiting to hear back from the broker that i have lost out so i can start viewing apartments. Kilted comes overthe end of May and i'd like to have somewhere to live for both of us by then. I dont want to encroach on my best friend. I'd hate to have tolive with a couple.
    What county are you in?

England, I believe we're the second most expensive county (until they put a damn high speed rail line through our Area of Outstanding National Beauty!) Averaging after council tax food etc, £1300+ a month - renting!

Yikes! I think if i add my bills on to the rent i'm looking at a 1000€ a month. Thats just a one bed though. They put a motorway through a heritage area here...

I could go off in a rant about the whole thing but it will only end up being political so i wont.

I hate getting bitten! I was in glendalough a few years ago and a bug managed to get into my boot and bit me. I had this huge ugly yellow thing on the side of my ankle for weeks!

A little bit of diluted ammonia works wonders, but you don't smell so good after It really does work though, and that's the main ingredient in most over the counter ones here in the states anyway.
