I don't exactally agree with the teenagers not reading these books thing. Some do, some don't. But a lot of them read the " new " books like Harry Potter. But no matter how many books I read, Little Women will always be my favorite.

amelia is right! Teenagers aren't interested much in this type of book. I read it an came to this web site looking for the sequels. It is an awesome book and I can't wait to read Little Men and Jo's Boys!
Children need to taught to love the classics. They may choose to read some newer books, but the classics can be so rewarding. Little Women is by no means hard to read, and the story is true, even today. We may not go to parties in tarlatans and silks, have housekeepers, or work as nannys, but girlhood doesn't change much in essence.
It is my favorite, too!
"We'll all grow up someday, we might as well know what we want."
Amy March - "Little Women" (1994)
Little Women has been one of my favourite books since I was 12 and I'm still a teenager... just. Haha I guess I must be an exception!
She is too fond of books and it has addled her brainLouisa May AlcottHowever, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me- the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace Acts 20:24It takes so little to make a child happy that it is a pity, in a world so full of sunshine and pleasant things, that there should be any wistful faces, empty hands, or lonely little hearts.
