OK now I'm going off to bed.

I made a recording of Auden's "The Unknown Citizen" since I was unsatisfied with my reading of the Cummings poem lol.

Now I'm going to force myself to sleep.

Hmmm, looking amongst my collection of recorded poems

My God Symphony, yours was great! You've shamed my pitiful poetry recitations.

EDIT: Wait omg, both voices are yours? You are a truly sublime singer! WoW!

    OrphanPip, your voice is adorable

    Dunno if this works.
I recorded it last week to give it to my best friends and my sister. Tonight I noticed this thread, so thought I'd share. Click "Download this file", and let me know if the link works.

P.S. Both the voices in the audio are mine.
Symphony, is it safe to download this file? I would love to listen to it, too. Daniel says you're a star.

Hahha French tongue twisters are hard.

I recorded the one you did plus another one after

    http://www.zshare.net/download/72745017c4f498a5/

Si six scies scient six cyprès ci-près, six cents scies scient six cents cyprès ci-près.

If six saws saw six cypresses nearby, six hundred saws saw six hundred cypresses nearby (it kinda works in English too haha)

A little tip on your french, when you pronounce qu'on you want to pronounce the "qu" like a hard /k/ instead of like /kw/.

Edit: I like your voice too

Edit2: Ever since the winky face blows kisses it seems extra flirty lol.

Damn it, you do it like a pro, hehehe. Let me see, all of these are from school so I have a whole library of *fails*

    twister3.wma - 0.13MB

And this one I'm quite proud of merely because after a semester of not studying I had forgotten what it meant and thought it was part of a French poem I had written, but it turned out just to be some random assignment from the last semester

    faire.wma - 0.17MB

Re:EDIT: Hehe, I still don't understand why it does that. Who winks and blows a kiss at the same time in real life?

    Ha, a player that's who

Since, there's a French theme going on:

A reading of Anne Hebert's "La Neige" par moi

    Beautiful. . . . .

So Canadian literature does have something to offer to the rest of the world

Ech, too bad that I can't read any French poems without sounding like an imbecile.

I've had a lifetime of exposure to the language, so I have an unfair advantage.
