GRAVITY

You and I, my sweet,
were strangers
then something happened
we bumped into one another
our eyes met
love unfolded its wings
flew and perched in our hearts
and we were no more strangers!
Gravity looked at us
With awe
failing to understand
what had attracted us so near
without her?
Newton turned in his grave
so did Einstein
at love's phenomenon.
'Massive' of all things-
Love- yet weightless,
immune from the choking pull
of Gravity;
Unaffected by Gravitons,
Unmoved by surrounding masses,
Love prevails in hearts,
Love is God
God is Love
Free from the fetters of
gagging Gravity.
