    Post i gave you my heart

    I gave you my heart
    You threw it away
    Once you tore it apart
    I refused to play.

    Why can’t you understand?
    I’m not lying to you
    I just want to hold your hand
    But you never do.

    I found the parts of my heart
    Piece by piece they went together
    You never was that smart
    I just wish they was that way forever

    Now I know you hate me
    We just weren’t meant to be
    I guess I didn’t I see
    You had the key

    You always made the decisions
    You held my heart
    You made the final incision
    And cut me apart

    I regret what I did each day
    Why did I let it go on?
    I just wish I had the courage to say
    Ill love you still from this day on

    its not neccessarly love lost but it is just general heartbreak
    Love is when someone gets their heart broken and instead of crying appologises for doing wrong even if they did nothing at all

    I agree it's pretty touching.
    The poem seems to describe the typical heartache of teenage, but I like it.
