Hi everyone. I am Roger, and I am Belgian. I found this forum whilst searching for a forum to discuss Goethe. As I am not only interested in Goethe, but, to summarize, in what is used to be called the "great classics" (like, apart from Goethe, f.e. Dostojewski, Tolstoi, Camus, Shakespeare, I did not hesitate to register , as I am pretty sure to find more than enough here.

Hello! I'm from Oxford, UK and this is my first post so I thought I'd better stop by and say hello. I'm a big fan of Victorian novels especially sensation novels by M.E Braddon and Wilkie Collins. My favourite book is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte I'm looking forward to getting to know some more people and talking about books!

Hello everyone. I came across this site yesterday when I was browsing on-line. I'm English, mid-50s, transplanted to Wales for more than 20 years now, but planning to shift back next year. Total bibliophile - I cannot live without books. Fortunately we live within striking distance of Hay-on-Wye, famous for its bookshops, so make regular visits there and rarely come away empty-handed.

Thomas Hardy is my favourite author, and I love poetry too, especially the Dymock/Georgian poets.

Hello there. I'm Luke and I'm new here! I'm 24 and I've recently got myself back into writing and found this place through a random Google search to try find places with like-minded people to share stories with.
I wrote 2 short stories about a year ago for competitions and then didn't do anymore until recently. Just finished another and am planning my next story, so I'll post some soon for people to read. Will be nice to get some feedback!
