I have read this book and i found it interested especially the character of Maggie..but i'm bit annoyed of her extraordinary sensitivity and conflict of her inner and outer self.It reveals upon me the impulsive, childish and ambigious attitude of a girl who always seeks love and affection from others, but finally she got nothing.I do feel sympathy for mrs. Tulliver,her helpless state of mind and the social pressure upon her.But ending of the novel is quite uncertainand unjustified, it makes me feel that Eliot was quite eager to end the novel without giving the adequate consequences of Maggie's hard decision.Anyway over all vision of novel is certainly digestible.
