definitely read tintern abbey, plus one other lyrical ballad... i recommend 'expostulation and reply' in order to get a general sense of what wordsworth is all about (importance of nature as a spiritual educator etc).
Wordsworth as a Moral Teacher

In him we distinctly recognize not only a great poet, but also a great moral teacher. He is immensely rich in life's truest wisdom. Even his most trifling pieces close with some pregnant reflections, which leave a permanent treasure to the soul. All through his writings we find him striving not only to move that sympathises of the heart but also to enlarge the understanding and widen the spiritual vision, all with the aim of leading us to a firmer and austerer self-control. To console the afflicted, to add sunshine to daylight by making the happy happier, to teach the young and the precious of every age to see, to think, and feel and, therefore to become more actively and sincerely virtuous, was the work of his life.
