I think that this novel is an extrordinary tale that has and exceptional presence of poetic description and imagination. The ideaas of the author are very lcearly as well as forcibly expressed. In particular, I liked Hardy's detailed descriptions of the landscape being natural and breathtaking throughout the story. The novel was full of symbolism and suspense, which keep the readers interested and hold on to their attnetnion. Upon the whole, the work impressed me with the author's originality and influential power of expression.
